The Versatile Starting Point

Choose One Shed
For More Than One Job.

For shoppers who are unsure which profile to choose, A-Frame Sheds are a practical all-around starting point and Slabaugh’s most popular shed style. The familiar residential gable works well for general storage, workshops, and usable loft storage.

Start with what you need to store and how you expect to use the floor space. Then choose the size, layout, doors, windows, siding, roofing, and colors around those priorities.

If wider access for a mower, compact tractor, UTV, ATV, or dirt bike is the main priority, compare the A-Frame Garage.

Start with the job. Choose details around it.

Three Simple Steps to Your A-Frame Shed

Tell Glen what the shed needs to do, choose the details together, and let the Shipshewana shop handle the build.

1

Define the Job

Discuss your storage list, workshop plans, loft needs, or property-equipment access with Glen.

2

Choose the Details

Set the size, layout, doors, windows, siding, roofing, and colors around how you will use the shed.

3

Build & Deliver

Your A-Frame Shed is built in the Shipshewana shop, then transported and placed at your prepared site.

Custom buildings typically take approximately two to four weeks. Free delivery is available within 20 miles of the Shipshewana shop; ask Glen about delivery outside that area.

Choose an A-Frame Shed Around the Job

Use your storage list and daily routine to decide which layout deserves the floor space.

Property Storage

Keep mowers, garden tools, outdoor furniture, and seasonal supplies together.

Dedicated Workshop

Plan doors, windows, and open floor area around repairs, woodworking, or hobbies.

Property Equipment

Configure the size, access, and layout around a mower, compact tractor, UTV, ATV, dirt bike, or related gear.

Office or Studio

Choose window and door placement for a focused work, craft, or creative space.

Loft Storage

Move lighter seasonal items overhead so frequently used equipment stays accessible below.

Flexible Hobby Space

Combine organized storage with room for gardening, pool supplies, crafts, or projects.

Four Details to Compare

Know What Goes
Into Your Shed.

Family-owned since 1995, Slabaugh’s builds each A-Frame Shed from start to finish in one Shipshewana shop. Glen stays personally involved in helping customers plan their buildings, and these four points make the material choices easier to compare.

01

Walls & Custom Trusses

Premium-grade 2 × 4 walls are framed 16 inches on center, and custom trusses are built from premium-grade 2 × 4 lumber.

02

Plywood—Never OSB

The floor system uses plywood, and plywood is used wherever sheet material is required—never OSB or pressed board.

03

Finish & Roofing Choices

Three coats of paint or stain are applied before delivery. Available roofing includes metal or shingles.

04

Exterior Material Warranties

Coverage depends on your selections: barn paint includes a 15-year fade warranty; siding and trim, a 50-year warranty; shingles, a lifetime warranty; and metal roofing, a 40-year finish warranty. Ask Glen which coverage applies.

Choose the A-Frame Shed Details That Matter

Decide how the shed will work first, then coordinate the exterior with your property.

Size & Layout

List what must fit now, what may be added later, and which items need clear floor access.

Doors & Windows

Choose garage, fiberglass, or custom wooden doors and place windows around traffic and daylight needs.

Colors & Siding

Coordinate wood or vinyl siding, trim, and colors with your home, including custom paint matching.

Roofing

Compare available metal roofing and shingle choices by appearance and the material warranty offered.

Available Building Options

Add the access, storage, work, and finishing details you need.
